How long will it take to receive my order?

Whiskey River Vintage: 3-7 business days + shipping time

Angel Spit: 3-5 weeks + shipping time. Everything is made to order by one human (me)! I also keep my production time posted in our website header.

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number at the email or phone number provided when you placed the order. Shipping time varies based on your selected shipping method, carrier, and location.

If you ordered from both storefronts, your vintage items will ship once your chainmaille pieces have been made. If you would like to receive your vintage items earlier you can purchase separately or email us to pay an additional shipping rate.

What is Route package protection?

Route Package Protection 1-Click Protect is offered at checkout! Route Package Protection is automatically added to your cart with an additional fee. This fee amount is based on the items in your order and adds a minimum of $0.98.

When Route is ON and kept in your cart, your package is insured upon placing an order that requires shipment. This means in the case of a lost or stolen package, you will be able to receive a refund for your order, even if the package eventually shows up to your door.

What happens if my package is lost or stolen?

We are not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. We offer package insurance through Route for a small fee of ~1%. In the case of a lost or stolen package we are happy to help you in taking the steps to file a claim. Since we are a small business with a one person team, we do not operate on a scale where we can offer free returns or package insurance.

If you did not purchase Route package protection and your package was lost or stolen, you can file a claim with the shipping carrier.

What is your chainmaille repair guarantee?

Repair is care! All Angel Spit pieces come with a lifetime guarantee meaning that if at any point you need a simple adjustment made or to fix a loose link, broken clasp, clip, lost spike or bead we will do it for free!* You only pay for shipping.

*If you need a larger element like a pendant or a trigger clasp replaced we will ask you to cover the material costs but the repair itself will be free!

What is your chainmaille size guarantee?

We want you to be happy with your purchase! At Angel Spit, we offer free size adjustments for 90 days after your order is delivered. This applies to all of our designs. You just pay shipping!

After 90 days, a fee will be assessed depending on the design and adjustment needed.

Is your jewelry hypoallergenic?

Most of our designs are made with 304 & 316L stainless steel jump rings, clasps, and findings making them hypoallergenic for the majority of people with metal allergies. On rare occassion we may use a pendant or clasp made from an alloy metal and we take care to clearly state when we use those findings in our listings and to indicate which part of the design is not stainless steel.

We offer a few designs in jewelers brass which is not hypoallergenic and may cause irritation for those with sensitivies.

What materials do you use for your jewelry?

Our chainmaille pieces are handmade with saw cut 304 or 316L stainless steel and jewelers brass. We use saw cut jump rings for a smooth closure and finished look. Stainless steel and brass are high quality and renewable metals. They are a far more eco-friendly choice than plated metal jewelry which causes them to often break and tarnishes quickly. Plated metals are made with harsh chemicals that produce toxic runoff and the plating will eventually wear off and reveal the cheaper metal underneath. Our pieces are made to last a lifetime and when you shop with us you are making an investment in a piece that you can love for a long time!

What is your return policy?

Whiskey River Vintage: Returns are only accepted if the item(s) have been incorrectly described, measured, pictured, etc.

Please consider that vintage pieces are usually 20-70 years old & have a history as unique as us. We do our best to take note of damages but these pieces are pre-loved & one of a kind.

Accepted returns will receive full store credit and the buyer will pay return shipping unless otherwise stated.

Angel Spit: We do not accept returns. We provide lots of details on our chainmaille listings and are happy to make adjustments within 90s days of your order delivery if you purchased the incorrect size!
